Provides services for women who are experiencing an unintended pregnancy, or who require an abortion for genetic or medical reasons
This program is for women:

The CARE Special Services Program provides surgical abortions up to the 24th week of pregnancy through the BC Women's Abortion Clinic (CARE Program) and coordinates care for women who require pregnancy termination following a diagnosis of fetal anomaly or because of maternal complications. They also provide services to women whose gestational age is beyond the scope of the four abortion clinics in BC and to women who, for medical reasons, need to have the abortion done under a general anesthetic.
