Provided by BC Human Rights Clinic (BCHRC)

Offers a range of legal services including a short service clinic, legal representation, summary advice, referrals, educational workshops and an infoline for individuals with human rights complaints.
Services Includes:
  • Legal Services: Provides free legal assistance and representation to individuals who have filed complaints with the BC Human Rights Tribunal. Legal services provided at the Clinic may include Summary advice, 1-2 hours of legal assistance, Legal representation.
  • Short Service Clinic: The clinic is still available every Monday (except public holidays). Each appointment is 30 minutes with a human rights lawyer or legal advocate. Click here for information and registration.
  • Education and Workshops: Provides public legal education workshops, seminars, and training sessions on BC Human Rights Code topics.
  • Human Rights Info Line: Operates a telephone info line which provides general information to complainants about the BC Human Rights Code and Tribunal process. The info line is open 5 days a week from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. (See number below).
