Ts’ets’uw’ut Family Support Services
Caregiver Support, Child Services, Family / Parenting, Indigenous Services, and Youth Services
Provided by Kw'umut Lelum Child and Family Services
Provides information, education, and guidance to children, youth and families in nine member Nations. Programs and services respect Coast Salish practices and traditions, and have cultural experts, Elders and community leaders actively participate in program planning and delivery.
The support services program provides services that may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Services for children and youth
- Counselling
- In-home Support
- Respite care
- Parenting programs
- Traditional healing and relationship-building.
Some services are offered directly to the family at their home, while other services may provide substitute care for a child outside the family home.
Support for families living on reserve include:
- Voluntary Support For Families Living On Reserve: This is a 4-6 week focused program of maximum of 10 hours per week in home support. It is a voluntary program designed to support families with prevention in mind and for families when children are returning home.
