Single access point for individuals seeking adult mental health and substance use services in the Western Communities (formerly Westshore), including View Royal, Colwood, Metchosin, Highlands, Sooke and Port Renfrew.
Program is a single access point for those seeking adult mental health and substance use services in the Western Communities (formerly Westshore), including View Royal, Colwood, Metchosin, Highlands, Sooke and Port Renfrew.

Services provided:
  • Same day, single-session counselling appointment
  • Screening and assessment
  • Referrals to the most appropriate service, team or community resource
  • Connection to services such as counselling, case management, psychiatry, substance use supports and withdrawal management (detox)
How to access services:
  • Drop-in appointments are available Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM and 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM, and on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM
  • For a phone-in appointment, please call 250-370-5799
  • Primary care provider can fax a completed MHSU Referral Form to 250-370-5724
  • Referrals are also accepted from individuals, clinicians, community agencies and health and social services professionals.

Hours of Operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, closed on Statutory Holidays.

Details: Referral is not required, but you can self-refer or be referred by a physician (referral faxed to 250-370-5724).
