Provides a single access point for individuals seeking help for adult mental health and substance use services for Campbell River, Quadra and Cortes Islands, Gold River, Tahsis, and Sayward.
Services Provided
  • Screening, consultation and assessment
  • Connection to the most appropriate service, team and/or community resource
  • Single Session Walk-In Service (SSWIS) provides timely drop-in, walk-in, and phone-in support for in-the-moment Mental and Substance Use related issues that are non-crisis related
How to Access Services
  • Available for individuals aged 19+ years old who are living in Campbell River, Quadra and Cortes Islands, Gold River, Tahsis and Sayward
  • Start the self-referral process by calling to book an appointment with the intake team at 250-850-2620
  • Same-day appointments are available and may be in-person or over the phone
  • Referrals are accepted from individuals, clinicians and other health and social service professionals
  • A referral is required for Psychiatry services, including for programs such as EPI (providers see below)
  • Drop-in groups are open to the public - call reception for the current schedule at 250-850-2620
    • Crisis and Emergency Services: The Community Response Team provides urgent response for adults who may be suicidal or in a psychiatric crisis through the 24-Hour Vancouver Island Crisis Line 1-888-494-3888.

    Intake Hours of Operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. SSWIS Hours of Operation are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (excluding Tuesday MORNINGS). All services are closed on statutory holidays.
